The great event of robotic cinema  will take place on September 14-15 in Valencia, and tickets to attend ROS Fest 2018 are already available for free .

Scheduled activities

In the marathon of robotics, cinema and communication or ROS Fest 2018 we will not only get to know the winners of the second edition of ROS Film Festival. There will be much more.

To whet your appetite, we have already announced that we are organizing round tables led by important professionals within the fields of Artificial Intelligence, cinema or communication and also members of our jury, like Sandra Hermida, production director in many films by Juan Antonio Bayona, such as ‘A Monster Calls’, ‘The Impossible’ or ‘The Orphanage’ and winner of five Goya awards. Or Nuria Oliver, computer scientist with more than 20 years experience in research on Artificial Intelligence, Human-Computer Interaction and Mobile Computing at MIT, Microsoft Research. She is the first female Scientific Director of Telefónica R&D, the first female Chief Data Scientist at DataPop Alliance and the first female Director of Research in Data Science at Vodafone, as well as being the only Spanish female scientist to have been named Fellow of the IEEE and of the ACM.

Film Robothon

Within ROS FEST 2018 we are organizing the Film Robothon, the first hackathon by multidisciplinary teams, made up from 8 to 10 people, whose aim is the creation of a short film using robots made by themselves, and they will have to do it in three days.

Two days of events in which there will also be live music, an Expo Showroom with the most interesting technological developments, networking areas, screenings and many more activities that aim to turn ROS FEST 2018 into a meeting point in which to exchange knowledge, enjoy science fiction films, have fun and get to know the winning short films of the Second Edition of ROS Film Festival.
