Fernando Broncano
He is a Professor of Logic and Philosophy of Science and Humanities at the University Carlos III of Madrid. His research focuses on a conception of the human being that transcends the dichotomy between the natural and the artificial, and the study of technology as a configurational element of the human. His work promotes overcoming the division between scientific and humanistic culture. In his latest book “La melancolía del cíborg” (The Melancholy of the Cyborg) (Herder, 2009) he suggests that our human nature is hybrid (cyborg).
